![]() Today I launched my first E-book. In all honesty I never thought it would be a non-fiction book. You see I have worked on and co-written children's books, teen fiction and several other things but an actual how to book was kind of last on my mind and certainly the last thing I ever thought I would go about publishing first. Yet there it is and its for sale on Amazon, this site and my Etsy store. If you are curious as to what its' about read on though this blog title may have given it away. This mini how to book is to assist anyone who currently has a vendor booth or specifically those who are in the process of building one or about to. You see building a booth for a show to hawk your wares can be super expensive. It depends on where it is, what type and the kind of budget you have. If you have ever gone about trying to set one up then you already know how expensive it is and so you are looking to cut corners. This book can assist you in building an indoor/outdoor booth and have you up and running (Minus the cost of your fees and product) for less then $300. What if I were to tell you that you could get banners, cards, t-shirts, car magnets all and more for less then $172. I would have to say that you have got to be amazed if you have ever tried pricing any of this out. Best part is investing in this book to assist you is at an introductory price of $.99 So how is that for saving money. That's what its' all about now. So hop on over to my store page to get your E-book copy. So what do Birthdays and Pinterest have in common? Not a darn thing! But today is my awesome sister in laws birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER! More like a sister then a sister in law and when you grow up with 3 brothers and all male cousins its really cool to have a girl around. Especially a girl like Heather Jones. She's an awesome artist in her own right and I would love to feature her often but shes always busy doing some crazy cool thing like today shes in Scotland and other times shes on a Roller Derby team. ![]() This is my brother and sister in law aren't they cute? Yep they were born with those faces but we love them anyway. Ok cool thing about these two. Jay (my bro) creates hand made glass and is currently learning to make Cloisonne jewelry. Epic right? I would burn my hand off for sure. I am so clumsy and am already dangerous enough with the projects I make by hand. Heather can pretty much do anything I can which is super awesome when you get us together because we can pretty much make anything when we set our minds to it. Recently my brother bought me a Cameo cutter and it is the current joy of my life. You will see soon why its' so darn amazin and why I think my brother is the glue to my gorilla. Now again what does any of this have to do with Pinterest. Nothing. I told you that earlier so why did you ask me again? Oh right I told you in earlier posts to ask questions! Good job! Well today I was trying to figure out how to code a Pinterest button to work with my photos. Especially the cool free stuff so that you can pin and share it with others. After all what is free stuff if you can't share it right? And its really not nice to horde it all to yourself. Even though I know you want to because I do too. but I have accumulated so much cool stuff I am exploding with it and need to share. I want you to share too so please tell everyone...HEY COOL FREE STUFF ON GRAFXQUEST. Excellent ok moving on. Well anyway since I am my own Website developer, marketer, designer and the list keeps growing; I find it necessary, essential even to learn how to do a little bit of coding to make things work the way I want. My web publisher doesn't offer Pinterest to just throw into my posts so what to do what to do. Well what you do is you look around until you find someone who has some information on the net, and half the time it may only be partially what you need so you keep looking. Thats' pretty much what I have done a few times now to figure this out. I am now happy to say I can now code Pinterest tags properly and they actually work. So for those of you looking for a way to add Pinterest to your blogs or whatever you do because you want the world to see your awesome stuff, I say too damn bad. Why should I share the info that took me hours to figure out. Ha! Kidding ok so get your pen because I am going to try and make this as easy as possible. First pull up your blog where you want to add your Pinterest pins. Second pull up this Pinterest Widget builder link. http://business.pinterest.com/en/widget-builder#do_pin_it_button First click on "One Image" (you can experiment and play with the other stuff later as you get the hang of it). Next go back to your blog or where your photo is posted. Copy your Url above on the bar of the page where the photo is posted. Go to the Widget link and paste it into the "URL: " line. Next go back to your blog or where the image is saved click on it to open it in a new tab and copy that URL in the bar. Go back to your widget page and paste that info into the "Image:" Line. next it asks you to type in a description. Its important to type info on the photo and something that leads people back to your blog if you want followers. So your description should look something like this. Happy Birthday Heather~GrafXQuest.com . Make sense? Next click build it. You should now see your image and code should generate in the box under your image. Copy that code and you can now use that code to put into your HTML boxes under your photo. That is of course if you know how to add one and every site is different. I am going to assume you know how to do that part because I can't help you if you don't. This is definitely an easy way to add a Pinterest button and have the code generated for you. ![]() Now you can have your piece of Pinterest Cake and eat it too! Happy Birthday Heather want some? Sorry Its' not purple...
