This trade card is from late 1800 to early 1900. Featuring some of the fun images that Clark's was famous for. Clark's was a sewing company dealing in findings. In this particular image the spool of thread is used for the Cowboy's Lasso  as he "tests" it out on the Bull.  They have an amazing array of fun images like this on their trade cards.
