Really awesome Moon image taken from a Halloween post card image. Unfortunately my card was in rough condition but the moon was still awesome and since its hard to find really great moon images that are vintage I thought you may like this one.

This is a gorgeous little image from the 1940's of a little girl whose face is lit by the punkin.  Now I will always give you a little warning if something is outside the safe zone for the Public Domain.  This would be one of those times so I highly caution to not pass on this image and to specifically use it in personal projects only as in this case I have no idea recollection of where I got it and because of the date it would technically not be in the public domain.

With that being said I colorized it from black and white for you and hope you love as much as me. I mostly try to share only what I own...but once in a while I get inspired. And this was just so darn beautiful.

This wonderful cover of the "Ghost" Playbill is from 1889. A fellow by the name of Professor Pepper would put on public spectacles of Ghost Seances.  He would accomplish this by using a giant piece of glass on the stage and a lit up reflective image that came below the stage of a woman or man dressed in ghostly garbs. The reflection would show on the glass as though there were a specter on stage.  This was just one of the many con shows that took place during the mid to late 19th century.  The particular one was well known.

This image is directly from the cover of the original play bill and would be amazing on Halloween projects even though it mentions Christmas? lol. You could probably pull that cool Christmas font off and use it too.

Like it? Though not vintage this image is done in a 12"X12" 300 DPI.  That means it is a super high quality image.  It would make an incredible door sign for your house.
