Tonight's image "Parisian June Calendar" . This Parisian influenced piece is made of hand painted water colors, vintage gold foil elements and hand drawn pieces. The Calendar also comes with an extra Gold Foil Circle for personalization so you can use it for your desk top wallpaper and June Calendar reminder. In the spirit of nearly Halloween. Witch (purposely spelled wrong hehe) is my favorite time of year so it is never too early to start planning ahead for some spooky fun. I created the book cover here by using a photograph of an antique Shakespeare book. Then doing a little photo shop altering changing "Shakespeare" to "Shadows" and I left the illustrated part alone because I thought it worked well with the new cover. I then added 3 pieces of vintage imagery from the Halloween section on The Graphics Fairy. The owl. The skull in the center and the crow in the title. and melded them in by turning the skull image gold like the trim, adding a dark shadow around the owl to match the dark brown trim. Then the raven I created a shadow out of the vintage scrap and filled it in with the texture of the rusty parts of the cover. You are welcome to download this and use it for personal projects only. Be sure to upload your DIY. We would love to see how you use it. Wouldn't this be fun on a personal journal?
